Dear Customer,
We advise that due to a major upgrade of the OzISP E-Mail servers, all of our E-Mail facilities will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours on Tuesday 18th of May 2010 commencing from 9:30am. This downtime will affect all @ozisp.com.au and @wimmera.com.au E-Mail addresses.
For Customers Using a Mail Client;
As part of this upgrade, some changes will need to made to your email account settings in your mail client.
1. All email account Usernames will need to be updated according to the following rule;
{existing username} + {domain name}
e.g. support+ozisp.com.au
The domain depends on your email address
If your email account is on @wimmera.com.au, then your username will become;
{existing username}+wimmera.com.au
Please note, your email address and account password remain unchanged!
2. All email account Email Servers will need to be updated according to the following rule;
Incoming mail (POP3): mail.ozisp.com.au
Outgoing mail (SMTP): mail.ozisp.com.au
Instructions for Outlook and Outlook Express are shown below;
Outlook Express:
Click> Tools > Accounts > Mail Tab > Properties > Servers Tab
Incoming mail (POP3): mail.ozisp.com.au
Outgoing mail (SMTP): mail.ozisp.com.au
Account name: as per rule above

Outlook:
Click> Tools > E-Mail accounts > View or change existing accounts > Change
Incoming mail server: mail.ozisp.com.au
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.ozisp.com.au
User Name: as per rule above

If the above changes do not work or the correct server addresses and user names are in place, from the desktop screen please click > Start > Settings > Control Pane l> Internet Options > Connections Tab > Properties > Networking Tab > Select Internet Protocol TCP/IP> Click Properties. If you have selected "Use the following DNS Server addresses" in the bottom section, you will need to make the following changes:
Primary DNS: 203.176.120.5
Secondary DNS: 203.176.120.6
For Customers Using Webmail;
If you currently access your email via OzISP webmail services then the following changes will occur;
1. The access address will change to www.ozisp.com.au/webmail
Please note that this address will only become active following the server upgrade on Tuesday.
2. Your username will change as per the rule;
{existing username} + {domain name}
e.g. support+ozisp.com.au

If your email account is on @wimmera.com.au, then your username will become;
{existing username}+wimmera.com.au
Please note, your email address and account password remain unchanged!
